Introduction
Right from colonial time, vocational education training has tended to be neglected and yet the economic competitiveness of a country depends on the skills of its workforce. The skills and competencies in turn are dependent upon the quality of the country’s education and training systems.
To this end, vocational education is perceived as one of the crucial elements in enhancing economic productivity. That is why Kaliro trains students who are determined to create a society where every citizen lives a decent and fulfilled life. Our graduates have gone on to distinguish themselves in taking an active role inculcating in their learners the zeal and positive attitude toward vocational education.
